The US and Russia are discussing joint projects in the field of data centers, in particular using the capacities of Russian nuclear power plants. Special representative of the Russian leadership Kirill Dmitriev also announced new initiatives between the countries and stated that Washington is looking for options for lifting sanctions against Moscow.

This is reported by Russian media.

According to Dmitriev, Russia and the United States are discussing the possibility of implementing joint projects in the field of data centers. In particular, it is about using the capacities of Russian nuclear power plants.

He also announced the emergence of several important initiatives between the countries in the near future, without specifying their content.

In addition, Dmitriev said that the US is looking for ways to lift sanctions against Russia.

“Firstly, the Americans are increasingly realizing that sanctions are harming the United States. Secondly, they have put themselves in a situation where they are trying to find options for lifting them,” Dmitriev said.

By the way, Trump is preparing a new offer to Putin , which includes benefits for Russia in exchange for a long-term ceasefire in Ukraine. Washington hopes to first reduce the intensity of hostilities and then move on to agreements with the Kremlin.

As a reminder, US President Donald Trump announced an agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the supply of Russian diesel fuel to the US and world markets . According to him, Russia should immediately supply more than 300 thousand tons of fuel, and later – several million more tons.

As reported, the United Kingdom, Finland and the European Union have reacted to the agreement between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the supply of Russian diesel fuel to the American and world markets. Representatives of European states and the European Commission stressed the need to maintain sanctions pressure on Russia and reduce dependence on its energy resources.

It should be noted that at the EU summit on October 15, European leaders plan to discuss new sanctions against Russia. First of all, they want to limit Moscow’s income from oil sales . At the same time, Donald Trump agreed with Vladimir Putin to increase supplies of Russian diesel, which caused concern in Europe.
