Specialists of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have discovered an Nvidia Jetson Orin microcomputer in the new Russian S-71 “Monochrome” cruise missile. The presence of such a component may indicate the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the missile.

This is reported by the GUR.

Ukrainian intelligence has published new data on the electronic components of Russian weapons on the War&Sanctions portal. In total, experts have identified 35 components found in samples of weapons used by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

In particular, among the discovered parts are components of the passive radar head that Russia uses on the Geran-2 UAV to detect Ukrainian air defense systems and radar stations, the Chinese Honpho TS130C-01 camera from the Geran-4, as well as elements of the active homing head of the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile.

The GUR notes that, together with Ukrainian research institutions, they continue to establish the origin of foreign electronic components used in Russian weapons.

According to intelligence, the discovery of such details helps Ukraine and its partners identify critical technologies entering Russia and strengthen measures to block the relevant supply channels. The GUR emphasizes that the Russian Federation has not yet been able to completely replace foreign high-tech components with its own analogues.

It was previously reported that an analysis of the data obtained showed that the Russian military-industrial complex is increasingly dependent on the supply of components from China.
