Occupied Donetsk came under massive attack: what is known

A series of explosions have been heard in temporarily occupied Donetsk. There are reports of strikes on several areas of the city, including a facility where the Russians may have been assembling and storing drones.

This was reported by the head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, Petro Andryuschenko.

According to him, one of the strikes fell on the Donetsk City district. Traffic was also blocked on Ilyich Avenue, where, according to Andryuschenko, the territory of a former enterprise used by the Russian military for assembling and storing drones was attacked.

The explosions in Donetsk were also reported by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Serhiy Bratchuk. He hinted that one of the targets could have been the headquarters of the Russian military.

Monitoring channels are reporting hits in various parts of the city. Most of the explosions were heard in the Donetsk City area. Explosions were also reported near the railway station and Donbas Arena.

According to preliminary information, at least five missile strikes may have been launched on the city, after which another series of explosions were heard.

Some Telegram channels claim that about 13 Flamingo missiles may have been used in the attack. There are also reports of fires and significant destruction. There is currently no official confirmation of this information.
