The Russian occupation administration has warned the local population of temporarily occupied Crimea about the imminent, complete shutdown of mobile internet.
This was reported by the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
The occupiers explain the upcoming shutdowns with “security considerations” and “prevention of cyber sabotage.”
“In fact, this is part of a broader strategy of integrating Crimea into the Russian information system of control and censorship, as well as isolation from both the Ukrainian and global information space,” the SZR noted.
In addition, intelligence has recorded numerous cases of artificial restrictions on Internet access in the TOTs of Zaporizhia, Luhansk, Donetsk, and Kherson regions.
In addition, in Russia itself, in July 2025 alone, 2,099 cases of Internet outages were recorded – this is an absolute Russian record.
It was previously reported that the occupiers have intensified the process of seizing housing from Mariupol residents. Locals are being evicted en masse from their apartments under the pretext of registering “unowned property.”
