Russian military personnel used an unknown poisonous substance against fighters of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment after Ukrainian defenders recaptured enemy positions.

This was reported by the 225th Separate Assault Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the military, a group of fighters was able to retake the positions previously occupied by the enemy. After that, the Russians tried to strike back.

First, an FPV drone hit the dugout, and later the occupiers dropped an unknown toxic substance.

The Ukrainian defenders left cover in time and moved to another position, thus avoiding more serious consequences.

The regiment emphasized that this incident was recorded as another war crime by Russia.

All evidence has already been transferred to the relevant services to be included in the case of war crimes committed by the Russian occupiers.

As a reminder, Russia has intensified its disinformation campaign accusing Ukraine of using chemical weapons.
