Occupiers shelled Kherson CHP with artillery, employee injured

On Sunday, December 28, Russian troops again launched artillery fire on the Kherson thermal power plant. As a result of the attack, one of the company’s employees was injured and hospitalized.
This was reported by NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.
The report notes that the Kherson thermal power plant was shelled during the day. As a result of the attack, the plant suffered significant damage.
The injured employee of the company was taken to the hospital. She is currently receiving the necessary medical care.
Work is ongoing at the facility to eliminate the consequences of the shelling.
The Kherson thermal power plant was the only source of heat for tens of thousands of apartments in the city. Russian troops attack the plant almost daily.
“We are coordinating our actions with local authorities to ensure backup methods of heat supply to city residents,” said Serhiy Koretsky, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
It is also reported that on December 27, Russia attacked gas and energy infrastructure . The strikes were carried out by Shahed drones on Naftogaz Group’s production facilities and thermal power plants.
By the way, on the night of December 28, Russian troops carried out another attack on Ukraine using strike drones.
