Odessa region under attack: Russia strikes critical infrastructure

On the night of Tuesday, November 11, Russia launched a drone strike on critical infrastructure facilities in the Odessa region, injuring one person.

This was reported by the head of the Odessa regional administration, Oleg Kiper, noting that despite the active work of the air defense forces, some objects of the civilian energy and transport network were damaged.

As a result of the strikes, fires broke out at several energy facilities, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers. The Ukrzaliznytsia depot and administrative buildings were also damaged.

There are preliminary reports of one injured person with shrapnel injuries.

The region’s critical infrastructure continues to operate thanks to generators, and safe havens have been opened for residents. Law enforcement officials are documenting new Russian war crimes.

As a reminder, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau exposed an office in downtown Kyiv through which those involved in a corruption scheme in the energy sector legalized illegally obtained funds.

As reported, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office are conducting a large-scale operation “Midas” to expose corruption in the energy sector . According to the investigation, the activities of a high-level criminal organization were established, which controlled financial flows and personnel decisions in state energy structures.
