Offensive in the Lymansky direction: Biletskyi reported details

The Third Army Corps reported on the results of the offensive operation “Vivaldi” in the north of Donetsk region. Ukrainian military liberated Seredne, deoccupied 10 km² of territory and cleared another 75 km² of Russian infiltration.

According to the military, in a regime of information silence, Ukrainian units eliminated Russian infiltration centers and cleared Novoselivka, Oleksandrivka, Yarova, and the vicinity of Korovy Yar. In addition, Seredne was liberated.

In total, during the first stage of the operation, 75 km² of territory were cleared of enemy infiltration, and another 10 km² were deoccupied .

The Third Corps stated that during the operation it was possible to significantly weaken the 20th and 25th armies of the Russian Federation. The losses of the Russian troops at this stage are estimated at approximately 1,500 soldiers, more than 12,000 drones , as well as hundreds of armored vehicles, artillery systems and automotive equipment.

At the same time, Ukrainian unmanned systems units were striking at the enemy’s logistics. According to the corps, Russian troops were forced to move supplies of fuel and lubricants outside Ukraine to the Voronezh region.

The operation involved the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 125th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade, the battalion tactical group of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, the 3rd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion, and the 25th Separate Corps Unmanned Systems Regiment.

Also participating in it were attached units of the 66th separate mechanized brigade, the 85th tactical group of the 8th SSO regiment, the special unit of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense “Artan” and the 10th mobile border detachment “Dozor”.

“There is now a lot of information in open sources that the ultimate goal of our offensive actions is to reach the banks of the Chorny Zherebets River. But our operation is called “Vivaldi”. And Vivaldi, as you know, has four seasons. And this is only the first of them. Therefore, follow our official messages and do not rush with spoilers. There will be good news,” said the commander of the Third Army Corps, Brigadier General Andriy Biletsky.

As a reminder, the day before, Biletskystated that Ukraine has a chance to hold key lines in the Donetsk region and announced an improvement in positions on certain sections of the front.

Biletsky also led a new group of troops called “Center,” which will be responsible for defending a large part of the Donetsk region. At the same time, he continues to command the Third Army Corps.
