Officially: US resumes military support for Ukraine

The US State Department confirmed the resumption of military aid to Ukraine.
This was stated by State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce during a briefing.
In addition, she emphasized that Washington remains an ally of Kyiv.
“We have been and remain Ukraine’s most loyal allies. We are concerned about the fate of Ukrainians, and we strive to do everything to ensure that they receive the necessary support,” she said.
Bruce also emphasized that President Donald Trump has repeatedly stated the need for an immediate end to the violence in Ukraine. According to her, this requires a peace agreement that would stop the mass casualties.
As a reminder, US President Donald Trump instructed his administration to consider options for additional assistance to Ukraine, including the supply of another Patriot anti-aircraft missile system.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump likely promised Volodymyr Zelensky to provide Patriot missiles to strengthen Ukrainian air defense.
As reported, the US has decided to resume military assistance to Ukraine , in particular, to provide a new batch of defensive weapons.
