Oil depot, radar station and manpower concentration area: Defense Forces hit Russian targets

On the night of January 6, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a number of enemy targets in Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories.

This was reported to the General Staff.

In particular, reducing the aggressor’s military-economic potential, Ukrainian units struck the Gerkon Plus oil depot near the settlement of Striletski Khutory in the Lipetsk region.

As is known, the target was hit. Explosions were recorded at the facility, and a fire broke out there. The extent of the damage is currently being determined.

Near the settlement of Novoyanisol in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, the Defense Forces hit the 9S32 radar station of the S-300V anti-aircraft missile system.

In addition, Ukrainian military units targeted an area of enemy manpower concentration in the Staroselya area of Belgorod region. Information about enemy losses is currently being clarified.

Among other things, units of the Defense Forces struck several control points of Russian drones in various locations — Pokrovsk, Valetovka in the Kursk region, and Grayvoron in the Belgorod region.

“Objects directly involved in waging armed aggression against Ukraine are being hit,” the General Staff emphasized.

It is known that on Tuesday, January 6, explosions rang out all night in the city of Neya, Kostroma Region, Russia. The attack hit the GRAU arsenal, a facility of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense .

It was previously reported that one person was killed in a drone strike in Tver, Russia.

As a reminder, the Russian plant PJSC “Energia”, which manufactures batteries for drones, as well as batteries for aviation and the Russian Navy, has been attacked again.
