Explosions occurred overnight at two key oil pumping stations in the Volgograd region of Russia — Kuzmichi-1 and Zenzevatka.

This is reported by monitoring sources.

The Kuzmichi-1 station is an intermediate linear point in the network that transports crude oil from the Saratov region towards the Volgograd region and further to the South of the Russian Federation. It is part of the Kuibyshev-Tikhoretsk route, through which supplies to Rostov, Krasnodar Krai, Novorossiysk and other regions move.

“Zenzevatka” is a hub station of the same system, connected to “Kuzmichi”. According to reports, without the operation of these nodes, the main pipeline will not be able to ensure pumping – a drop in pressure will stop the movement of oil throughout the entire section.

It should be noted that on September 20, “Zenzevatka” was already hit by drones of the SBU and Special Operations Forces. This time, tanks and other technological structures visible on satellite or photographic materials burned down.

Such strikes may indicate targeted damage to the Russian Federation’s energy infrastructure and the creation of obstacles to the logistics of its oil and gas sector.

As a reminder, for the second time in a week, one of the key elements of the Russian petrochemical industry, the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat enterprise in Bashkortostan, was attacked in Russia . After the drone strike, a large-scale fire broke out at the facility.

As reported, on the night of September 24, Russian regions were attacked by drones from several directions at once – the strikes fell on the Kursk and Belgorod regions, as well as the city of Taganrog in Rostov Oblast . As a result of the attacks, settlements were left without electricity, there were injuries, and industrial infrastructure was damaged.
