Oil spills and dead birds were found on Odessa beaches.

Near Odessa beaches, Dolphin and Langeron recorded pollution resembling oil, as well as dead birds.

The head of the city military administration, Sergei Lysak, reported this.

According to him, experts are determining the extent of the pollution and its origin. Representatives from the environmental inspectorate, municipal services, the Rescue and Diving Service, and the Odessa City Council’s Department of Municipal Security have arrived at the scene.

At the same time, volunteers are trying to rescue birds trapped in an oil trap, reports the local newspaper Dumskaya.
