The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck several important enemy targets in the territory of the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff.
In Feodosia, the facilities of the Marine Oil Terminal JSC, which was involved in supplying the occupation army, were damaged.
As the department explained, this facility is a multifunctional technological complex for the transshipment of oil and petroleum products from railway tank cars to sea vessels and vice versa, as well as road transport.
As a result of the strike, a large-scale fire was recorded there.
The Defense Forces also managed to hit the ammunition depot of a separate material support battalion of the 18th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation.
The results of the attack are currently unknown, the information is being clarified.
In addition, the General Staff confirmed the damage to the infrastructure of the federal state-owned enterprise “Ya.M. Sverdlov Plant”.
“The plant is one of the largest Russian producers of explosives. It is able to equip almost all types of ammunition – aviation and artillery shells, aviation bombs, including those that are adjusted for the target, warheads for cumulative anti-tank guided missiles, ammunition for engineering troops, warheads for air defense missile systems,” the report says.
The enterprise is also engaged in equipping combat units with unified inter-service glider ammunition.
A fire broke out at the facility as a result of the successful hit.
As a reminder, in the Russian city of Dzerzhinsk, in the Nizhny Novgorod region, there was a nighttime drone attack on a factory, with over two dozen explosions heard.
It was previously reported that Ukrainian troops had created gaps in the Russian air defense system on the peninsula and could use these vulnerabilities for a large-scale attack on Crimea.
