On the border with Poland, a truck collided with several cars: a Ukrainian driver died

In the Polish village of Zatyle, a truck driven by a Ukrainian driver crashed into several cars on the M-17 road near the border crossing. The truck driver died as a result of the accident, and another participant in the accident was hospitalized.

It is noted that the tragedy occurred at around 5:30 a.m. on the M-17 road in the area of the queue to the Grabenne-Lyubitsa border crossing. A Volvo truck, driven by a 60-year-old Ukrainian citizen, crashed into the back of a Renault truck standing in the queue.

The Volvo then crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a BMW. Police said that despite CPR, the truck driver could not be saved.

The road at the scene of the accident has already been reopened. The 35-year-old driver of the BMW was hospitalized. Police officers from Tomaszów Lubelski continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.

Published photos show that the front of the BMW was completely crushed. According to law enforcement, it is a miracle that the driver of the car survived.

By the way, the international highway Kyiv-Chop near Zhytomyr is partially closed due to a large-scale accident with casualties.

As a reminder, in Mykolaiv, law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of a fatal accident involving a motorcycle . The driver died in the accident, and the passenger was injured.
