On the front 77 battles since the beginning of the day: the enemy is trying to break through in several directions

Since the beginning of this day, 77 combat clashes have been recorded on the front. The hottest areas remain the border areas and southern directions, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian troops.

This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the Russian occupiers carried out 72 attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems. The settlements of Klyusy and Galahanivka in the Chernihiv region were under artillery fire.

In the South-Slobozhansk direction, our military repelled five attacks by the enemy, who tried to advance in the areas of Vovchansk, Synelnyky, and towards Izbitsky and Kolodyazny. In the Kupyansk district, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units six times near Pishchany and Kolisnyky, and one clash is still ongoing.

In the Lymansky direction, the invaders carried out nine attacks in the areas of Hrekivka, Tverdokhlibovye, Zarechny, as well as in the Novosergiyivka, Novy Mir and Stavye directions. Three battles are still ongoing. In the Slavyansky direction, our soldiers repelled six attacks by the enemy, who tried to break through the defenses near Yampol, Dronivka, Serebryanka, Siversk and Fedorivka, another clash is ongoing.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy made 14 assault attempts in the area of Oleksandro-Shultyny, Shcherbynivka and Pleshchiivka, moving towards Stepanivka and Berestok. One clash is ongoing. In the Pokrovsky district, the Russians carried out 21 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the directions of Novy Shakhovye, Novopavlivka, Chervony Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Kotlyny, Udachny and Molodetsky. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 20 attacks, another battle is ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, our soldiers repelled five enemy attacks near Yalta, Ivanivka, Zeleny Gay, Vorona, Rybne and in the direction of Danylovka, two attacks are ongoing. In the Hulyaipil direction, seven clashes were recorded, the Orikhiv direction was marked by one unsuccessful attack, and the enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Prydniprovs’ka direction.

No significant changes were recorded in the remaining areas.
