The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, has issued an order introducing mandatory rotation of servicemen at frontline positions. According to the order, the duration of their stay at the frontline should not exceed two months.
Syrsky reported this on Facebook.
The order was adopted in light of changes in modern warfare, especially due to the active use of unmanned aerial vehicles and the increasing dynamics of combat operations.
According to the order, commanders must organize service in such a way that servicemen are in positions in the combat zone for no longer than two months.
After this, a rotation is mandatory, which must be carried out within a period not exceeding one month.
Replacements must be planned in advance, taking into account the current operational situation, the level of intensity of hostilities, as well as available resources and capabilities.
Additionally, the order establishes requirements for the provision of military personnel and their rehabilitation after the completion of combat missions.
Including:
– mandatory medical examination for military personnel after being in positions;
– providing time for rest and restoration of physical and moral strength;
– providing units with ammunition, food and other important resources in a timely manner during the performance of combat or special missions.
“Compliance with the requirements of the order will be under strict control. Violations will result in unavoidable liability in accordance with the current legislation and statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Timely rotation is not only a matter of organizing the service, it is a matter of preserving the lives of our soldiers and the stability of defense,” Syrsky notes.
Earlier, reports appeared online about a critical situation with the provision of soldiers of the 14th separate mechanized brigade, who, according to the authors of the posts, were losing consciousness from hunger and drinking rainwater.
