“On the Shield”: Ukraine Repatriates Bodies of 261 Fallen Soldiers

Ukraine has received the bodies of 261 people as part of a repatriation effort. The Russian side says they may belong to Ukrainian servicemen.
This was reported on Thursday, August 13, by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
In the future, law enforcement investigators, together with representatives of expert institutions, will carry out the necessary procedures to identify the deceased.
The Coordination Headquarters also thanked the International Committee of the Red Cross for its assistance and support in carrying out the repatriation.
