“On the Shield”: The bodies of 261 dead returned to Ukraine

As part of repatriation measures, the bodies of 261 deceased were returned to Ukraine, which, according to the Russian side, may belong to Ukrainian servicemen.
This was reported on Thursday, August 13, by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
In the future, law enforcement investigators, together with representatives of expert institutions, will carry out the necessary procedures to identify the deceased.
The Coordination Headquarters also thanked the International Committee of the Red Cross for its assistance and support in carrying out the repatriation.
