The large Volgograd oil refinery “Lukoil” in Russia stopped receiving oil after one of the strikes by Ukrainian drones.

This was reported by Bloomberg.

Lukoil reportedly has enough capacity to process about 300,000 barrels of crude oil per day. The company supplied petroleum products mainly to the southern regions of Russia, and also exported some.

However, the fall of UAV debris the day before led to a spill of oil products and their ignition. As a result, the loading of oil stopped.

According to the regional administration, it took 19 hours to put out the fire.

As a reminder, on August 14, drones carried out an attack on the Volgograd region , as a result of which the debris caused a fire at an oil refinery.

By the way, a serious drone attack in the Saratov region led to the shutdown of one of the key Russian oil refining enterprises .
