The Central Directorate of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has put Timur Mindich and Oleksandr Zukerman on the wanted list. Both figures in Operation Midas are included in the category of persons hiding from pre-trial investigation bodies.
This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The Central Directorate of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has published information on the wanted list of Timur Mindich and Oleksandr Zukerman. In the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, they are marked as persons hiding from pre-trial investigation bodies.
According to published data, Mindich and Zuckerman disappeared on November 20 of this year. Both individuals are included in the materials of Operation Midas, which is being carried out by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
The investigation materials state that Timur Mindich, in previously published audio recordings, coordinates financial transactions, discusses the registration of proxies through fictitious employment, and gives instructions on security measures. He also demonstrates awareness of the attention of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine in the recordings.
Oleksandr Zukerman is a 61-year-old businessman who left Ukraine a few weeks ago. The investigation considers him a co-organizer of energy schemes along with Timur Mindich and a back-office employee who was involved in money laundering.
The materials indicate that his code name is “Sugarman.” In audio recordings from February 2025, he discusses transferring money to the Deputy Prime Minister, who at that time was Oleksiy Chernyshov.
It is worth adding that the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, also appears on the “Mindich tapes” released by NABU as part of an investigation into corruption in the energy sector.
By the way, Deputy Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office Andriy Synyuk resigned of his own free will . He explained that he wanted to avoid any speculation surrounding the internal investigation.
It was previously reported that the investigation has established who is behind the pseudonym “Professor” on the tapes appearing in the corruption case of Timur Mindich.
As a reminder, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office have gotten very close to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky – this is stated in the article “A Friend of Kolomoisky and Zelensky: Who is Timur Mindych?”
