Oppositionist Tikhanovsky and 13 other political prisoners released in Belarus

On Saturday, June 21, a number of political prisoners were released in Belarus, including opposition figure Serhiy Tikhanovsky.
This was reported by the Belarusian publication “Zerkalo”.
It is noted that 14 political prisoners were released with the assistance of Keith Kellogg, Donald Trump’s special representative. As it became known, they were transported to Lithuania.
In addition to Serhiy Tsikhanouski, those released include Ihor Losyk, Nataliya Dulina, Ihor Korniy, and Halyna Krasnyanska.
Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya confirmed the release of her husband, Sergei Tikhanovsky.
“What our family has dreamed of for these 5 years and what we have all worked for since his arrest has happened,” she commented.
According to her, the release of Tikhanovsky is a step towards the release of all Belarusian political prisoners.
As a reminder, Donald Trump’s special representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, visited Belarus , where he met with self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko.
