Politico published an article about Ukraine’s accession to the EU in 2027. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban reacted to the publication by stating that Brussels and Kyiv “declared war” on Budapest.

This became known from a corresponding post by a Hungarian politician.

Orban called these plans “another war plan.” He also said that, in his opinion, Brussels is not taking into account the position and interests of the Hungarian people.

“This new plan is an open declaration of war on Hungary. They are ignoring the decision of the Hungarian people and are going to remove the Hungarian government by any means. They want the Tisza party to come to power because then there will be no more vetoes, no more resistance, and we will no longer be left outside their conflict,” he said.

According to Orban, Hungarians must stop them in the elections this April. Fidesz is the only force standing between Hungary and the Brussels rule, and the only guarantee of Hungarian sovereignty.

Recall that the European Union is considering several options for Ukraine’s integration into the bloc , which could become part of a future peace agreement.

As reported, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban publicly stated that Budapest would not allow Ukraine to join the European Union , and also accused Kyiv of interfering in the country’s domestic politics.
