Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has compared the war against Ukraine to the laws of wildlife and the “food chain.” He said children need to be taught about animal behavior so they understand “what kind of world we live in” and why Russia is waging war.
This is reported by Russian media.
During a meeting with Dmitry Balanchukov, a Chinese language teacher from the Belgorod region, Putin spoke about the teacher’s trip to the North Pole and the behavior of animals in the wild.
In particular, he talked about killer whales, which he said attack polar bears, and called it an example of the “food chain.”
“They eat these bears like they’re little things. They just attack them in a pack and tear them apart. It’s all very interesting. It’s like a food chain. Children need to be told about this too, so that they understand what kind of world we live in and why we’re conducting a special military operation,” Putin said.
The Russian dictator also mentioned the writer Jack London and the customs of the northern peoples he described. According to Putin, in some cases, elderly people were left to the wolves if the tribe could not “carry them with them.”
“Yes, it all looks a bit harsh, but that’s their life,” Putin added.
Earlier, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said that Moscow would step up strikes on Ukraine in response to attacks on Russian logistics. He also called Russian strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure “effective” and declared Russia’s readiness for peaceful dialogue only based on “realities on the ground.”
