Outage schedules are returning: Ukrenergo spoke about the situation in the power system

Due to Russian strikes on energy infrastructure on the morning of October 6, new power outages were recorded in Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Energy workers are already carrying out emergency restoration work where the security situation allows.
This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.
Due to damage caused by Russian shelling, as well as the need to avoid overloading equipment in some regions, capacity restrictions for industry and hourly outages for all consumers will continue to be in effect from 3:00 PM until the end of the day . The scope of the restrictions will be up to one queue.
Energy experts urge people to use electricity sparingly during the restrictions and not to turn on several powerful appliances at the same time after the power supply is restored according to schedule.

As of 09:30 on October 6, electricity consumption was 2.9% higher than at the same time the previous day. Ukrenergo explained this by cloudy weather in many regions, which makes household solar power plants operate less efficiently and increases the load on the general network.
The daily maximum consumption on October 5 fell on the evening. It was 1.7% higher than the maximum of the previous working day — Friday, October 2.
At the same time, today it is recommended to postpone the consumption of powerful electrical appliances to the period from 10:00 to 15:00, when industrial solar power plants operate most efficiently.
