Outages return: emergency schedules in effect in several regions

On Monday, April 6, emergency power outages were introduced in Kyiv.

Information about the power outage appeared around 3:00 PM on the company’s official Telegram channel.

“Kyiv: emergency shutdowns were applied at the command of Ukrenergo,” the message says.

DTEK promised to promptly inform consumers about the changes.

At the same time, Ukrenergo noted that emergency shutdowns were applied in several Ukrainian regions due to the difficult situation caused by Russian shelling.

As noted, after the situation stabilizes, emergency outages will be replaced with predicted hourly power outage schedules.

“Follow the messages on the official pages of the regional energy company in your region. If you have electricity now, please consume it sparingly!” the company urged.

As is known, on the night of April 6 , Russian troops attacked energy infrastructure facilities in Chernihiv region . As a result of the strikes, hundreds of thousands of subscribers in several cities and districts were left without electricity.

By the way, on April 6 , Russian military troops shelled the Odessa region, attacking the region’s energy infrastructure .
