Over 100 air targets overnight: Air Force reveals details of Russian attack

On the night of August 14, Russian occupation forces carried out another massive attack on Ukraine, using 112 drones of various types, including Shahed strike drones, jet UAVs, Banderol loitering munitions, as well as simulator drones.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the air attack began at 6:00 p.m. on August 13. The enemy launched drones from the Kursk, Orel, Millerovoe areas, as well as from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast and Crimea.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, Unmanned Systems Forces, and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the attack.
“According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defenses shot down/suppressed 90 enemy Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country,” the Air Force reported.
Despite the successful work of the air defense, air attack weapons were recorded hitting 11 locations. Debris from downed targets also fell in six places.
The Air Force emphasized that the attack was still ongoing at the time the report was released.
“The attack is ongoing, there are several enemy UAVs in the airspace. Follow safety rules!” the military called.
Information about the consequences of the strikes and possible destruction is currently being clarified.
As reported, on the night of August 14, Russian troops attacked Smila, Cherkasy region, with a strike drone. The enemy drone hit a multi-story residential building , injuring five people.
