Over 170 clashes recorded at the front: the enemy is pressing in several directions

Over the past 24 hours, 174 combat clashes have occurred on the front. Russian troops actively used drones, aviation, and artillery and attacked in several directions.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on April 21.

Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike, used two missiles, carried out 78 air strikes, dropping 239 guided bombs. In addition, it deployed 8,953 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,232 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 101 from multiple rocket launchers.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Havrylivka, Malomykhaylivka, Kolomiytsi, Pokrovske in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Tsvitkove, Vozdvyzhenka, Rybalske, Lisne, Rivne, Novoselivka, Charivne, Dolynka, Zelene, Zarichne, Malokaterynivka, Orikhiv in the Zaporizhia region.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery struck 10 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment and three artillery pieces.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the enemy carried out 5 air strikes, dropped nine guided bombs, and carried out 73 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements, two of which were by multiple launch rocket systems. Three enemy assault actions were recorded.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried five times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, and Vilcha.

In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor attacked 17 times in the directions of the settlements of Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Nova Kruglyakivka, Kivsharivka, and Novoosinove.

In the Lymansky direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses four times, attacking in the directions of the settlements of Chervony Stav, Drobysheve, and Dibrova.

In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped two attempts by the occupiers to advance in the Yampol area and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy once attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in the Minkivka area.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivano-Pol, Illinivka, Yablunivka, Oleksandro-Shultynye, Novopavlivka, Stepanivka, and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 30 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Filiya and towards the settlements of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Nove Shakhove, Kucheriv Yar, Vasylivka, Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked five times in the directions of the settlements of Kalynivske, Oleksandrovgrad, and Zlagoda.

In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 22 attacks by the occupiers towards the settlements of Dobropillya, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Hirke, Myrne, Staroukrainka, Olenokostyantynivka, Hulyaipilske and in the Hulyaipil area.

The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Orikhiv direction.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy conducted three futile assault operations towards the Antoniv Bridge.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
