Over 240 clashes on the front: the General Staff named the hottest areas

Over the past 24 hours, 244 combat clashes took place on the front. The hottest area remains the Pokrovsky direction, where Ukrainian military repelled 37 attacks by the Russian army.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike, used one rocket, carried out 77 air strikes, dropping 249 guided bombs. In addition, it used 8,673 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,903 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 41 from multiple rocket launchers.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck ten areas of manpower concentration and two enemy artillery systems.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, one combat clash with the enemy took place over the past day, the occupiers carried out four air strikes, dropping 11 guided bombs, and carried out 56 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements, including two using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 15 times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Figolivka, Starytsia, Lyman and in the direction of Izbitsky, Zarubinka, Hoptivka, Vilcha, and Okhrimivka.

In the Kupyansk direction today, the enemy carried out three assaults on Defense Forces positions in the direction of the settlements of Podoli and Holubivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses six times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Novoselivka, Drobysheve and towards the settlements of Cherneschyna, Lyman, and Ozerne.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy stormed 25 times towards the settlements of Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Pyskunivka, and in the areas of Riznykivka and Zakytne.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian invaders carried out three attacks in the Nikiforivka area.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 20 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivano-Pillya.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 37 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Toretske, Rusyn Yar, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Filiya, Novooleksandrivka and towards the settlements of Vilne, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Myrne, Serhiivka, Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked four times in the direction of Kalynivka and in the Zlagoda area.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the invaders carried out 16 attacks towards the settlements of Girke, Vozdvizhivka, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Charivne, and Hulyaipilske.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders in the Stepovoye and Plavni areas five times.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper direction.

No signs of enemy offensive formations have been detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions. Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy, providing effective resistance on all sections of the front.
