Over the past 24 hours, 121 combat contacts occurred at the front, and 20 attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsky direction.

On Saturday, March 7, 121 combat clashes occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The enemy was most active in the Pokrovsk area, where Ukrainian forces stopped 20 attacks.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

Enemy shelling of Ukraine

According to military data, over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched three missile strikes, using 33 missiles. The Russian army also carried out 86 airstrikes, during which 254 guided bombs were dropped.

In addition, the occupiers used 9,837 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,514 attacks on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 49 from multiple launch rocket systems.

The areas of the settlements of Pisantsy, Kolomyitsy, Pokrovskoe, Chernenkovo, Podgavrilovka, Lesnoye, Svetlaya Dolina, Zelenaya Dibrova, Kopani, Volshebnoye, Rivne, Gulyaipolskoye, Veselyanka and Malokaterinovka were hit by airstrikes.

Strikes by the defense forces

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces ‘ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 11 enemy manpower and equipment concentration areas, as well as two drone control points and one electronic warfare system, within 24 hours.

Situation in the main directions

In the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 139 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and settlements, including four using multiple rocket launchers. The enemy also carried out three airstrikes using eight guided bombs.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, Russian troops attempted to break through the defenses of Ukrainian defenders five times in the areas of Grafskoye, Vilcha, Zybinye, Peschane, and Volchanskoye.

In the Kupyansk direction, four attacks were recorded in the areas of Peschanoye, Kurilovka, Kovsharovka and Novoosinove.

In the Liman direction, the enemy attacked six times, trying to advance near Sredny, Novy Mir and Drobyshevoy.

In the Slavyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders thwarted 12 attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Platonovka, Rai-Aleksandrovka, Kaleniky, Dronovka, Zakotnoye, Reznikovka, and Pazenoe.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked in the direction of Minkovka.

In the Konstantinovsky direction, the enemy carried out 15 attacks near Konstantinovka, Pleshcheyevka, Shcherbinovka, Ilyinovka, Rusiny Yar, Sofievka and Novopavlovka.

The hottest section of the front remains the Pokrovskoe direction, where Ukrainian troops repelled 20 enemy assaults in the areas of Novy Donbas, Rodinskoye, Novoaleksandrivka, Kotlinoe, Udachnoye, Novonikolaevka, Novopodgorodnoye, Nikanorovka, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, and Grishinoye.

In the Aleksandrovsky direction, the enemy attacked four times near Verbovoye, Novogrigoryevka and Voronoye.

In the Hulyay-Polye direction, 12 attacks occurred in the areas of Dobropillya, Zheleznodorozhny, Varvarovka, Mirny and Zeleny.

No enemy assault actions were recorded in the Orekhovsky and Dnieper directions.

At the same time, no signs of the formation of offensive enemy groups were detected in the Volyn and Polesie directions.
