Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Russia had not carried out any deliberate attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure over the past 24 hours.

He wrote about this on social media.

At the same time, attacks on energy facilities were recorded in frontline and border communities. According to the president, the Russian army continues to focus on terrorizing logistics, primarily rail transport. Specifically, railway facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions were hit.

In Kyiv, more than 200 homes remain without heat; over 200 repair crews from across the country are working to resolve the outages. The challenging power supply situation also persists in Kropyvnytskyi and the surrounding region, Poltava, Dnipro, Cherkasy, and communities near the Russian border.

Zelenskyy instructed regional governors to check the operation of mobile phone base stations. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, approximately 10% of these stations are inoperative during power outages, especially in rural areas.

In addition, the president called for adjustments to power outage schedules in certain areas of the Odessa region, given the large number of homes with electric heating.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the agreement on a so-called “energy truce” with Russia for the winter cold period.

Earlier, it was reported that People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko confirmed that Ukraine and Russia have reached an agreement on an “energy truce.”

As is known, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on information circulating online about an alleged “energy truce” between Ukraine and Russia.
