Over three days, more than 800 Patriot missiles were used in the Middle East; Ukraine had never used such a quantity in the entire war.

Over three days of fighting in the Middle East, more than 800 PAC-3 missiles were used for American MIM-104 Patriot air defense systems.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this at a briefing summing up the government’s work.

According to him, Ukraine has never had such a number of interceptor missiles during the entire full-scale war.

“Somewhere over 800 PAC-3 missiles were used in the Middle East during these attacks. Ukraine has never had so many missiles to counter the attacks. Over these three days, there were over 800 missiles,” Zelenskyy noted.

The president added that the first days of massive attacks are always “shocking,” when air defense systems deploy all available means. He noted that a similar situation was observed during the first mass attacks by Russian Shahed drones in Ukraine.

The head of state also reported that he held talks with representatives of Qatar , the United Arab Emirates , Bahrain and Jordan and plans further contacts with other states on cooperation in the field of air defense.

Zelensky announced that Ukraine plans to “quietly” negotiate with partners to obtain scarce interceptor missiles, while simultaneously offering its own combat experience.

The President emphasized that Ukraine clearly understands how many interceptors are needed for its own defense, as well as the additional quantities that can be produced. He stated that Ukraine is ready to share its expertise in protecting civilian and oil infrastructure from air attacks with its partners.
