Ozzy Osbourne Dies: When Will the Musician Be Buried

Iconic musician Ozzy Osbourne will be buried on Wednesday, July 30. The procession will pass through his hometown of Birmingham, located in the British county of West Midlands.

Fans of the musician will be able to visit the “last journey” of the heavy metal legend, which will pass through Birmingham. In particular, on July 30, the musician’s body will be returned to the city for a farewell procession, which will begin at 13:00 local time along Broad Street. After that, the procession will stop at the Black Sabbath shop and bridge. The cortege will be accompanied by a live brass band performance by the musicians Bostin Brass.

Birmingham City Council said it had worked “at speed” to agree the event with Osborne’s family, who had funded all associated costs.

Meanwhile, for fans unable to travel to Birmingham to see the funeral, a live stream from the Black Sabbath bench will be available.

The event will take place before the musician’s private funeral.
