Pakistan declared war on the Taliban government and attacked Afghanistan

On the night of Friday, February 27, Pakistan launched massive strikes on Afghanistan, particularly on Kabul and the provinces of Kandahar, Paktia, and Nangarhar. Military targets and positions of the Taliban movement were attacked.

It is noted that during the attacks, 27 Taliban positions were destroyed and 9 facilities were captured. According to the Pakistani side, 133 Afghan soldiers were killed and more than 200 were wounded. The Afghan military reports 55 dead Pakistani soldiers and the capture of a base and 19 enemy checkpoints.
Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said: “Now we will have an open war with you. Now it will be a bloody war. The Pakistani army did not come from across the sea. We are your neighbors, we know your times.”
He accused the Taliban of turning Afghanistan into an “Indian colony,” recruiting terrorists and “exporting terrorism.” Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar confirmed the strikes on Kabul and the provinces of Paktia and Kandahar.
