Paralympics-2026: Ukrainian parabiathletes won three medals

Ukrainian athletes won three medals in the parabiathlon sprint pursuit at the 2026 Paralympic Games . The team’s assets were added to two silver and one bronze medals.
In the sitting class , Taras Rad won the silver medal . The Ukrainian was second only to Yerbol Khamitov from Kazakhstan , losing to him by 21.5 seconds.
Also in the top ten were Vasyl Kravchuk and Hryhoriy Shymko – they finished eighth and ninth, respectively. Pavlo Bal took 12th place , and Oleksandr Aleksyk finished the race 13th .
In the standing class , Ukrainian athletes also climbed to the podium. Iryna Bui won the silver medal, losing 17.7 seconds to the winner, Natalie Wilkie from Canada .
Another award for Ukraine was brought by Oleksandra Kononova . She finished third and won the bronze medal, 13.4 seconds behind Bui .
Lyudmila Lyashenko finished the race in sixth place, and Bohdana Konashuk took seventh place.
