Part of Chernihiv left without electricity: the enemy attacked critical infrastructure

On the evening of December 23, Russian occupation forces used a drone to strike Chernihiv, attacking a critical infrastructure facility.
This was reported by the press service of the City Council and the head of the MVA Dmytro Bryzhynskyi .
It is known that no people were injured, but a fire broke out at the scene of the impact.
At the same time, the enemy does not stop the attack, continuing to strike at the critical infrastructure facility, Bryzhynskyi noted.
According to JSC “Chernihivoblenergo” , as a result, the Russians damaged an important energy facility in the Chernihiv region. As a result, part of the population of the regional center was left without electricity.
“We ask you to remain calm and take measures for your own safety! As soon as the security situation allows, energy workers will begin emergency restoration work!” the company assured.
As a reminder, Russian troops carried out a massive air strike on Ukraine, using over 600 drones and dozens of missiles – the main target of the attack was energy infrastructure facilities , particularly in the western regions.
By the way, after the massive Russian attack on December 23, Ukrainian nuclear power plants reduced electricity production , and consumers were blacked out in eight regions.
