Part of the city was left without water due to shelling of Sumy
On Monday, September 1, part of the city was left without water supply due to Russian shelling of Sumy.
This was announced by Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar.
According to him, at 6:05 p.m., there was a power outage at one of the city’s water intakes.
“In this regard, there is a temporary lack of water supply for residents of the microdistrict of Peremohy Avenue, Pishchane Village, Veretenivky, Topolyanska Street and adjacent streets,” the official explained.
Currently, municipal services are already working to eliminate the problem and return water to Sumy residents.
Recall that on the night of August 27, Russian troops carried out a large-scale attack with kamikaze drones on Sumy. As a result of the shelling, damage to infrastructure facilities and disruptions in electricity and water supply were recorded .
