Parts of Ukraine remain without power due to shelling and bad weather
Due to hostilities and attacks on energy facilities, residents of several regions are temporarily without electricity.
This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Energy.
Currently, outages have been recorded in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions.
“Energy workers are working in an intensive mode to restore power to all subscribers as soon as possible. Restoration work continues around the clock,” the Ministry of Energy notes.
In addition, several regions experienced power outages due to bad weather. “Due to bad weather, more than 170 settlements in Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Ternopil, Poltava, and Khmelnytskyi regions remain without power. Repair teams from the regional energy companies are working to restore power,” the report says.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the application of electricity supply restrictions is not expected today.
“Find out about any changes in energy supply on the official resources of your regional energy companies,” the department adds.
The Ministry of Energy also urged consumers to use electricity economically.
“We ask consumers, if possible, to use electricity sparingly throughout the day. This helps reduce the load on the system,” the message emphasized.
