Parubiy applied for protection, but was denied – MP

People’s Deputy and former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, who was killed in Lviv today, applied for protection.

People’s Deputy Volodymyr Ariev stated this on the air of “Kyiv 24” .

“We will definitely deal with this, because six months ago Andriy applied for protection, but protection was not provided,” he said, adding that all documents related to him will be “uploaded.”

According to Ariev, there have been previous reports that there are threats against several state figures.

“All those who ordered the vile murder will be held accountable. Andriy was shot in the back, just as the NKVD officers shot Ukrainian patriots in the 1930s and 1940s,” the deputy emphasized.

Let us recall that on August 30 , public and political figure Andriy Parubiy was killed in Lviv .

Later, it became known that the Lviv region is searching for the shooter who killed the current deputy from the “European Solidarity” party and former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy . A photo of the alleged killer is being published on the Internet.

Later, journalists reported that MP Andriy Parubiy was shot 8 times by a man disguised as a courier.
