In the parliamentary elections in Armenia, the Civil Contract party of incumbent Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is gaining 32.7% of the vote. The four opposition parties together receive 52.9%, which could potentially allow them to claim a majority in parliament.

This is reported by the Armenian agency News.am.

According to the exit poll, Nikol Pashinyan’s “Civil Agreement” is gaining 32.7%;
pro-Russian bloc “Strong Armenia” of businessman Samvel Karapetyan – 29%;
“Armenia” bloc of ex-President Robert Kocharyan – 13.2%;
“Prosperous Armenia” – 6.1%;
“Wings of Unity” – 4.6%.

It should be noted that Pashinyan’s party is ahead, but the gap with Strong Armenia is only 3.7%. Together, all four opposition forces are gaining 52.9% of the vote – this could potentially allow them to claim a majority in the National Assembly.

As a reminder, on June 7 , voting in important parliamentary elections to the National Assembly concluded in Armenia , where citizens chose the country’s future course.

Instead, Russia has intensified covert operations aimed at disrupting Armenia’s political course toward rapprochement with the West and influencing the country’s upcoming elections, including disinformation campaigns, vote-swing schemes, and support for pro-Russian candidates.

It should be noted that Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin recently had a phone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, wishing him a happy birthday. At the same time, Moscow continues to increase economic pressure on Yerevan , introducing new restrictions on Armenian products.
