Payments of 6,500 hryvnias from the state have started in Ukraine: who can receive the money?

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko announced the start of social payments of 6,500 hryvnias for vulnerable categories of the population.
She wrote about this on Telegram.
As Svyrydenko explained, payments can be received by children under guardianship or care; children with disabilities who are raised in family-type orphanages and foster families; children of IDPs who receive housing benefits; children from low-income families; people with group I disabilities among IDPs; single pensioners with a care allowance.
According to her, in total, more than 323 thousand people have already applied for the program. Payment can be made by December 17 in two ways: online – through the “Diya” application, as well as at a Pension Fund branch.
You can spend the support funds on medicines, clothing, and shoes within 6 months of receiving it.
As previously reported, the “winter support” program will begin operating in Ukraine in December , which provides for one-time payments for various categories of citizens. The amount of assistance will range from 1,000 to 6,500 hryvnias.
We remind you that almost 2 million citizens of Ukraine received assistance under the “Winter Support” program , of which 1.7 million were adults, and another 253 thousand payments were made to children.
