A new round of trilateral talks between Ukraine, the US, and Russia may take place in Abu Dhabi in early November. At the same time, the Kremlin has not yet determined the composition of the Russian delegation and does not expect a quick end to the war.

This was stated by the Russian dictator’s assistant Yuri Ushakov, Russian propaganda media reports.

According to Ushakov, the meeting could be held in the tenth of November. However, Vladimir Putin has not yet decided who will represent Russia at the negotiations.

The day before, Putin met in St. Petersburg with the US President’s special representative, Steve Witkoff. The American side is involved in diplomatic contacts to end the war.

The Kremlin also does not rule out a broader international format with China’s participation. At the same time, Ushakov said that even a meeting between Putin, US President Donald Trump, and Chinese leader Xi Jinping would not guarantee a quick settlement.

According to him, it is impossible to solve all problems in one round of negotiations.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed his readiness for a peace agreement that would fix the current front line. According to the data provided, this option would also preserve Ukraine’s control over at least 75% of its territory.

It was previously reported that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin did not hand over any documents containing Moscow’s proposals for resolving the war against Ukraine to US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said after their meeting.

As a reminder, US President’s Special Representative Steve Witkoff met with Vladimir Putin in Moscow. Among the main topics of the talks were the possibility of a ceasefire in Ukraine, the resumption of trilateral contacts between Kyiv, Washington and Moscow, and the prospects for economic cooperation between the US and Russia.

As reported, negotiations between Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and US President’s special representative Steve Witkoff have concluded in St. Petersburg. The parties discussed a possible peaceful settlement of the war in Ukraine for about three hours.

Later, US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff announced that the US, Ukraine and Russia would continue peace talks in a trilateral format at a technical level . The American side called the previous meetings constructive and announced further work on a peace agreement.
