People’s Artist of Ukraine Stepan Giga has died

Famous Ukrainian singer Stepan Giga died in Lviv at the age of 66.

According to available information, the artist died on Friday, December 12, in the intensive care unit of the First Territorial Medical Association of Lviv. The cause of death was a serious illness.

As the publication previously reported, Stepan Giga had been in the hospital in critical condition since November 19. Doctors performed an emergency operation on him, but the singer’s life could not be saved.

Stepan Giga was one of the most famous Ukrainian pop artists, whose work left a noticeable mark on the history of Ukrainian music.
