Petro Poroshenko: It depends on the parliament whether Ukraine will overcome the dangerous crisis

Petro Poroshenko, during his speech from the parliament rostrum, called for the release of all those involved in the corruption Mindichgate, the formation of a new coalition of patriotic forces and a reboot of the government. He emphasized that the country is in danger and needs to join forces. MPs from the European Solidarity faction blocked the rostrum demanding the resignation of the government and the removal of corruption schemes from the draft State Budget for 2026 .

“Look how much cleaner the air in the Verkhovna Rada became when they eradicated the “Yermakivshchyna” from here. This, as mathematicians say, is a necessary but insufficient condition. The country is in a triple crisis: a crisis at the front, a corruption crisis, and a crisis in relations with partners in peace negotiations. It depends on the parliament, on you and me, whether Ukraine is able to overcome this crisis,” Poroshenko noted.

“First, we continue to collect signatures for the government reboot and the creation of a new coalition. I thank everyone, because we are approaching a hundred who have signed, please do not stop. Second, we must urgently remove all those involved in the “Yermak-Mindich” tapes from the government. Next time, during my speech, I will start naming the names of those involved. Don’t let it get to this point,” the party leader warned.

“We must take responsibility and release them. And not only for corruption, but also those who pressured law enforcement agencies to ensure the illegal criminal prosecution of NABU detectives, destroying the independence of the anti-corruption infrastructure – I mean detective Maghamedrasulov and his father, – the persecution of public activists, whom they call “Sorosites”, and the persecution of opposition leaders,” Poroshenko reminded.

He also called for the dismissal of the embittered head of the State Financial Monitoring Service: “everyone must bear responsibility. Not only the ministers, but also Pronin, who not only does not notice the “two-fingered gesture towards Moscow”, he is blind. Pronin – go away!”, Poroshenko called.

“And – an urgent meeting with Zelensky immediately upon return. Not to form a coalition, it is the parliament that should form it, but to jointly develop a strategy for the peace process. We are ready to be there. We are ready to participate in the coalition – and not for positions, but for the sake of Ukraine,” the fifth President emphasized.
