Petrov is no longer wanted: what is known and who is behind it

Political strategist and former head of the National War Memorial Cemetery, Volodymyr Petrov, who was previously wanted for evading mobilization, has been removed from the wanted list.

This was stated by People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak based on the results of his investigation.

According to him, the decision was made at a high level, and the relevant instruction was allegedly given by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Zheleznyak recalled that Petrov was wanted for violating wartime regulations, but the Ministry of Internal Affairs later stated that there were no grounds for his detention.

At the same time, according to the deputy, criminal proceedings have been opened against Petrov, in particular on suspicion of treason. He also claims that the investigation has been going on for years, but has not yet yielded any results.

In addition, Zheleznyak stated that Petrov may be involved in putting pressure on the investigative journalist, but in this case, according to him, there are still no final decisions.

All of these statements currently remain the position of the deputy himself.
