Petrov’s salary in a state institution exceeds military payments
A government employee reserved from mobilization receives a salary that exceeds the payments to military personnel in the home front.
This is reported by Censor.net.
According to the publication, the salary of a soldier serving in the rear units is about 20 thousand hryvnias per month. At the same time, information technology specialist Volodymyr Petrov, who works at the state institution “National War Memorial Cemetery”, receives almost 73 thousand hryvnias per quarter, which is about 24 thousand hryvnias per month.
As the publication notes, these payments are made from the state budget, while the actual results of the official’s work are not recorded. In addition to his salary, Petrov has a reservation from mobilization.
The article states that no explanation has been provided regarding the appropriateness of such an appointment and the level of remuneration. The authors of the publication emphasize that the situation has caused public outcry and criticism, in particular due to the imbalance between payments to military and reserved employees of state institutions.
It was previously reported that the National War Memorial Cemetery confirmed that the Iceland Channel host works there.
