Pilot Yevgeny Ivanov died while performing a combat mission

On December 8, 2025, in the eastern direction, Lieutenant Colonel Yevgeny Ivanov, senior navigator of the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade, was killed during a combat mission on a Su-27 aircraft.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The circumstances of the tragedy are currently being investigated.
The military expresses its sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased pilot.
It was previously reported that Ukrainian photographer Konstantin Guzenko, who was mobilized into the army in 2024, died in the war with the Russian occupiers.
As a reminder, in Vyshgorod, Kyiv region, a Russian attack claimed the life of an employee of the defense company Fire Point.
