Pokrovsky direction: occupiers throw Ukrainian prisoners into battle

The Russian occupiers transferred units formed from Ukrainian collaborators and prisoners of war to the Pokrovsky direction, trying to create a picture of a “civil war.”

This was announced on the air of “Pryamoy” by Dmytro Snegirev, co-chair of the public initiative “Prava sprava”.

According to him, we are talking about the so-called detachments of Oleksandr Matrosov and Martyn Buruli. The corresponding video evidence has already been transferred to special services to identify the traitors. “They are trying to show this almost as an element of a ‘civil war’. That is, Ukrainians are fighting Ukrainians,” the analyst said.

Despite the difficult situation in the Pokrov direction, Snegirev noted that the occupiers recognize the total superiority of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in FPV drones.

In addition, according to him, the Ukrainian military has achieved significant tactical successes in the area of Rodynske and Shakhove, which allows creating a threat of operational encirclement for Russian units. In particular, control over Shakhove makes it possible to influence the logistics of the occupiers in the zone of the so-called Dobropil wedge.

Recall that Russia has concentrated about 150 thousand soldiers in the Pokrovsk direction , the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (ASU) Oleksandr Syrskyi said in an interview with The New York Post. Ukrainian defenders are holding the defense and not allowing enemy infantry to gain a foothold in Pokrovsk.

Syrsky also stated that the main tasks of the Ukrainian military in Pokrovsk are to gradually take control of certain areas , support and protect existing logistical routes.

It was previously reported that Russian occupation forces, taking advantage of adverse weather conditions, are trying to penetrate Pokrovsk using light equipment .
