Poland evacuated two checkpoints due to Russian attack: Tusk made an alarming prediction

In Poland, people were evacuated from two checkpoints on the border with Ukraine due to another Russian attack near Polish territory. Dorohusk and Zosin stopped working for about half an hour.
This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference, RMF24 reports .
According to Polish media, the evacuation was carried out around noon on September 24 due to Russian strikes on Ukraine near the Polish border.
The checkpoints in Dorohusk and Zosin were out of service for about 30 minutes . After 12:00, traffic there resumed as usual.
Tusk noted that the attack occurred while he was holding international negotiations in Warsaw.
“This is not the first time I have spoken to one of our partners here in Warsaw and discussed Russia’s aggressive behavior and the problems it creates for Poland, and it is at this moment that the Russians decide to confirm it,” the Polish prime minister said.
According to him, Ukraine was attacked again near the Polish border, which forced the authorities to evacuate border crossings.
Tusk stressed that such incidents force Warsaw to strengthen security measures, coordinate actions with Ukraine, and warn European partners about further risks.
“Fall and winter could be really critical,” he said.
As a reminder, on September 23, Poland placed six border crossing points with Ukraine on high alert . Among them were Dorohusk and Zosin.
In addition, a Russian Mi-8 violated Polish airspace , after which the Polish military scrambled fighter jets.
