Poland reported the fall of Shahed on its territory

The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that a new violation of Polish airspace occurred overnight. A “Shahed” flew into the country’s territory.

The words of the Polish Foreign Ministry are reported by TVP World.

“The object that fell at night in a cornfield in the east of the country turned out to be the Russian version of the Shahed drone,” said Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman Pawel Wronski.

Poland will lodge a diplomatic protest “against the offender” after a drone exploded near the eastern border.

“Another violation of our airspace from the east confirms that Poland’s most important mission in NATO is the protection of its own territory,” Foreign Minister Sikorski emphasized.

The drone is known to have crashed in a cornfield in the village of Osiny in the Lublin Voivodeship in eastern Poland. It contained only a small amount of explosives and was intended to destroy air defense systems, distracting them from real combat drones.

Recall that enemy Shahed-type strike drones have undergone another modernization – some of the recently shot down drones were found to have installed video cameras.

These include special chemicals for the production of explosives, electronic components, and machine tools that are directly used in the production of weapons and military equipment.
