Police Detain Customs Inspector Suspected of Murdering Military CCC in Lviv

Lviv region police have detained a suspected murderer who fatally stabbed a military CCC in the neck.
This was reported by the press service of law enforcement agencies.
As noted, a special operation was conducted to arrest him, involving criminal police officers, investigators, patrol police officers, and employees of other police services.
The person detained was an inspector from Lviv Customs.
“Law enforcement officers quickly established the whereabouts of the Lviv resident, born in 1991, and detained him in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine,” the police said.
Later, in a comment to hromadske, the customs service confirmed that the detainee was an employee of Lviv customs.
They promised to assist law enforcement officers in objectively establishing all the circumstances of the crime.
The State Customs Service emphasized that they in no way justify or support the illegal actions of the service employees, adding: the final assessment will be made by the investigation and the court.
“We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased,” the message says.
Law enforcement officers are currently investigating the motives for the crime. The suspect faces imprisonment for a term of 10 to 15 years or life imprisonment.
Earlier, on April 2, on Patona Street in Lviv, during an awareness-raising event, a man fatally wounded a serviceman of the Central Military District .
