Polish protesters plan to block the border with Ukraine again, with the strike set to begin on Friday, January 23.
This was reported by the State Customs Service.
In particular, the Polish side warned that farmers would hold a strike in front of the Dolgobychów-Uhrynów checkpoint.
Poles will block the road leading to the checkpoint from the adjacent side. The protest will last from 11:00 to 15:30 Polish time, however, the farmers plan to hold a strike throughout the day.
The customs service urged people to take this into account and choose alternative border crossing points.
As a reminder, last year Poland announced that the government had decided to include border checkpoints on the list of critical infrastructure . This decision is intended to prevent the Polish-Ukrainian border from being blocked in the future.
